Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how YopMail App ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
YopMail App is an independent, third-party mobile application and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YOPmail.com or its creators in any way. The name "YopMail" is used solely to describe the temporary email service this App provides access to.
YopMail App does not own, operate, host, or control any temporary email service infrastructure. The App connects to publicly available temporary email APIs to provide inbox functionality. All temporary email addresses and their contents are subject to the terms and availability of the underlying email service provider.
We do not guarantee the availability, reliability, or continuity of the email service. Temporary inboxes and their contents may be deleted at any time without notice, in accordance with the 24-hour expiry policy. The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
We are not responsible for:
- the content of emails received in temporary inboxes;
- any actions taken based on emails received through the App;
- loss of email data due to service interruption or expiry;
- misuse of temporary email addresses by third parties; or
- unavailability of the underlying email service.
Use of this App for illegal, fraudulent, spam-related, or abusive purposes is strictly prohibited.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the App, we and our third-party partners automatically collect device information (model, OS version, unique device identifiers such as Android Advertising ID), usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration), crash reports (error logs, stack traces), IP address and approximate location at country or region level only, and app version information.
The App generates temporary email addresses and stores received emails locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is automatically purged after 24 hours. We do not transmit the content of your temporary emails to our own servers.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal email address, name, password, or payment information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use automatically collected information to:
- provide and improve the App's core functionality;
- display advertisements via Google AdMob;
- analyse App usage via Firebase Analytics;
- diagnose crashes via Firebase Crashlytics;
- remotely configure App features via Firebase Remote Config; and
- send local push notifications on-device such as inbox expiry reminders.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each operating under its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob displays advertisements within the App and may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads.
- Google Firebase Analytics collects anonymised usage statistics.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports to help us fix stability issues.
- Google Firebase Remote Config fetches configuration values to allow us to update App behaviour without requiring a full App update.

4. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your Android Advertising ID to show personalised ads, or non-personalised ads if consent has not been given.
To opt out of personalised ads on Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we present a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform before displaying personalised ads. You may withdraw consent at any time via your device ad settings.
5. Data Retention
Temporary emails and inbox data are stored only on your device and automatically deleted after 24 hours. Crash and analytics data are retained by Google per their own policies. We do not maintain any server-side database containing your personal data or temporary email content.
6. Data Security
All temporary email data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure. Temporary email inboxes are by nature publicly accessible via their address. do not use temporary emails for sensitive personal communications.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe your child has used the App and personal data has been collected, please contact us at yopmailapp@gmail.com and we will take steps to remove such information.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights including access to your data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent for personalised advertising via your device settings. Since we do not store personal data on our own servers, most of these rights apply directly to the third-party services listed in Section 3.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
